Bauneg Beg Mountain Conservation Area was conserved in 2001.  The 89-acre preserve offers two miles of trails that wind through mixed hardwood and conifer forests, past granite boulders and ledges along the Devil’s Den Trail. Middle peak boasts a bald top with views of the White Mountains to the Northwest and ocean to the East.

Note: There is no connecting trail to Bauneg Beg Mountain Conservation Area – South at this time. 

Terrain : mountainous, some stream sections. The Devil’s Den trail is somewhat technical requiring a brief scramble and is steep. MODERATE to DIFFICULT
