Tails on the Trail 2026: A Fundraiser / Dog Hike to Benefit 3 Dogs Rescue and GWRLT

Where: Negutaquet Conservation Area, North Berwick

Saving dogs and stewarding trails is as easy as putting one paw in front of the other!

This November, we’re raising funds for 3 Dogs Rescue to support their foster-based rescue, and Great Works Regional Land Trust to support stewardship costs for dog-friendly trails. Both nonprofits are located in southern Maine.

Molly, a yellow lab adopted through 3 Dogs Rescue, is a true success story of this partnership. Not only did she find a loving home and an important career as the GWRLT Office Greeter and VP of Community Outreach, she also regularly walks the 22 trail systems that allow dogs in Berwick, North Berwick, South Berwick, Eliot, Ogunquit, and Wells!

Last November, Chloe joined us as our newest Intern, reporting directly to Molly. She USUALLY listens to her mom, Jane except when it’s time to leave. (Chloe knows a great place when she finds it.) Some of you might remember her from last year’s Trails on the Trail, where she was featured as one of 3 Dogs Rescue available pups.
