Do you have what it takes to hike them all?

The GWRLT Trail Challenge invites you to explore all 21 GWRLT trail systems across our six towns. From peaceful marsh boardwalks to forested ridgelines and serene rivers, this is your opportunity to experience the full diversity of the lands you help protect.

Complete all 21 trails and earn an exclusive embroidered GWRLT Trail Challenge Finisher Badge. The collectible patch is a symbol of your commitment to conservation, community, and adventure!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Register
   Sign up for the Trail Challenge (below)
2. Hike All 21 Trails
   Visit each of GWRLT’s 21 trail systems at your own pace, in any order, anytime between March 1 and December 31, 2026.
   There’s no minimum mileage requirement – simply explore at least one marked trail with each conservation area.
3. Track Your Progress
   Log each completed preserve on your own. We recommend using our Conservation Areas and Trail Guide to keep track.
   We operate on the honor system – photos are encouraged (and great for social sharing!), but not required. Use #GWRLTTrailChallenge and tag us on Facebook or Instagram (@GWRLT) so we can celebrate your journey.
4. Claim Your Badge
   Once you’ve completed all 21 trail systems, submit your final confirmation.
