Wednesday Wandering: Grover-Herrick Preserve
Join us for a Wednesday Wandering at the Grover-Herrick in North Berwick this month! Hike from 10am–12pm.
Conserved in 2009, the Grover-Herrick Preserve is a 52 acre preserve that abuts Bauneg Beg Pond, which is the headwaters of the Great Works River. A 1-mile forested loop trail passes a glacial Kettle Hole as well as other wetland areas. The mixed hardwood forest on the preserve provides abundant mast for woodland animals.
The hike is limited to 25 participants. Reservations required.
