Ways to Give

With the support of people who, like you, value the landscape of this area, we will continue our efforts to ensure that the natural spaces we love remain forever. GWRLT seeks to ensure that growth is balanced with the permanent protection of forests and farmlands. These resources provide clean water, recreational opportunities, and fresh local food to maintain the health of our communities.

We invite you to enjoy our properties and to become a member, contributing not only to further land protection, but to the long-term care of the lands that will forever be preserved for the benefit of all.

Please know, your contribution to GWRLT is so valuable, no matter how you would like to support our work. Any of these methods help GWRLT achieve our mission, whether it is by directly taking a role in our efforts to providing a contribution to ensure we can continue operations and carry on with our important work. Here are some ways in which you can join our community:

Individual Giving

Great Works Regional Land Trust is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) land trust. The majority of our funding comes from individuals like you, and we depend on this generosity to meet expenses, manage preserves, monitor easements, host programs and events, and undertake new projects.

Below you will find a list of giving opportunities to benefit GWRLT.

You can also make a one-time or monthly gift here. We encourage you to please consider becoming a member or pledge partner to help us sustain our impact by visiting our Become a Member page.

As a 501(c)(3), all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

WORKPLACE GIVING & MATCHING

Does your company have a workplace giving program? To pledge a payroll gift to GWRLT, find our name and charity ID in your employer’s charitable giving catalog and submit your pledge form to your workplace giving coordinator. Please note that donor information shared with our organization varies by workplace, so ask your employer what gift information will be provided to the recipient organization.

Many of our region’s largest employers participate in matching gift programs for the nonprofits their employees support.

SECURITIES & STOCKS

GWRLT gratefully accepts and encourages gifts of stock. A tax-deductible gift of appreciated stock may help you give more – and will help GWRLT have a greater impact in the community.

“I volunteer because I want to give back to an organization that gives so much to so many. Now that I’m retired, I have the time and enough of the necessary skills to be of service.”
