National Trails Day – Stewardship Workday: Ogunquit Town Forest, Payeur Preserve

Saturday June 6th is National Trails day so we will have a workday to improve the trails at Ogunquit Town Forest June 6th from 9am to noon. We will meet at the end of Meadow Lane, Ogunquit. There is not much parking there, but you can park along the street – but please be considerate of the residents and don’t block any driveways or mailboxes.

We will be setting up new trail signs in the Town Forest and might also remove invasive Japanese barberry. We will bring tools but you can bring bug-repellant and of course water and your favorite work gloves. Leather gloves are a must if we remove barberry, but we have plenty of those.

Let us know if you can help out by registering below.
