A young family hikes a forest trail at the Kenyon Hill preserve in South Berwick, Maine.
“Hiking has always been a passion of my husband and I. It’s a time to connect with each other and put aside the demands of everyday life. Now that we have children it’s important to us to share our passion of the woods and hiking with them. GWRLT trails are numerous in our area and they are the perfect length for small legs and dog walks. My girls love taking time to explore the large boulders and hidden valleys. Through their own interest we have learned about different types of trees and mushrooms. I think it’s important to be a member of GWRLT to help continue to protect these lands so there will always be woods to explore. “
