Saturday, February 17

10 am - 1pm

Expect to visit Big Bump, Orris Falls, and Baker’s Oven - some of the “Wonders of Tatnic.” As time and interest allow, the excursion may extend to Balancing Rock and Tatnic Ledges. Board member Tin Smith of Wells will lead.

Beaver Dam Heath Snowshoe Cancelled - Hike New Berwick Property Instead! (10:00 am - 12:00 - noon)
This Saturday, February 24th

Tour the NEW Property in Berwick
10 am - Noon

*Beaver Dam Heath Snowshoe Cancelled*

Due to the warm weather and the lack of snow this week we are cancelling the Beaver Dam Heath excursion and offering a hike at our newest property, in Berwick with extensive frontage on the Salmon Falls River.

Though Great Works hasn't yet created a trail network here, a few trails already exist on the property though they may be a bit rough
and the ground could be pretty soft. Tall boots and a walking stick will be helpful; maybe grippers, too, if temperatures dip back down before Saturday. Access is at the end of Powerhouse Road in Berwick, off Rte 236 north of South Berwick and south of Berwick center.

Email
or call 207-646-3604 to reserve a spot. Free to Great Works members, $5/$10 family suggested donation for non-members. Reservations requested.
